My love for photography began many years ago when I was visiting my grandmother. Her home on the shores of Lake Erie was draped with photos that she had taken over the years. Every time we visited her I liked to skim the walls looking for any new photos she had put up. I didn’t know much about photography then, but I knew hers were magnificent. |
| Growing up during the PC era was interesting. My family’s first digital camera was an Agfa CL18. It had no image preview and shot at an impressive 640×480 resolution. I will never forget how exciting it was to have to run back to the computer to see how an image turned out and copy the pictures from the camera because you already ran out of space. |

Today I enjoy taking pictures whenever and where ever I am. The subject matter is usually nature at its finest, but it can vary. When I do photograph things in nature I always do my best not to disturb any natural occurrences. I have several shots in my portfolio in which I purposely incorporated litter into the landscape. I guess you could say one mans trash is another mans treasure right? |
