Windows 7; Could be worse
Well Windows 7 is officially on its way to your new computer via FREE upgrade – tomorrow that is [official release date Oct. 22nd]. Anyone that buys a new computer tomorrow will be able to get a copy of Windows 7 free, and this runs all the way until the official release date of October 22nd. If you remember when Vista came out and Microsoft was pushing it, they did the same with it as well.
You are probably wondering… just how much is this worth… or just how much should I expect to pay for Windows 7 bloatware? Well here is the general breakdown on pricing: $119 Home Premium; $199 Professional ; $219 Ultimate. I don’t think the pricing is all too horrible, and it seems much more reasonable then when Vista was first introduced.
Now I am faced with the decision of buying a new PC or upgrading one I already own. Christmas anyone?
