Don’t be fooled: Conficker
As of now, no one really knows what potential the Conficker worm is, and just how much damage it could do… Hopefully on April 1st it will all be a big joke.
If you are running Windows and want to do a free Virus scan of your computer, head on over to live.com, as Microsoft is trying to be proactive and had an online scanning utility that can detect the worm. There is nothing to download and install on your computer, it runs inside of your Internet Explorer web browser.
