Firefox: Buggy?
I have been using Firefox as my main web browser for several years now… have toyed with Safari, been stuck with IE while doing updates and glanced at Opera while I was bored. Its interesting that Firefox currently holds 45% of the market share and had the most vulnerabilities in 2008.
Vulnerabilities blah…. every single piece of software on the planet has bugs… and part of Firefox’s high mark could be because its Open Source and has rapid development. When you read other articles saying Firefox had the most security flaws for the year did they mention that the response time was much better than that of Microsoft fixing flaws in IE? Thats what I thought…
Even though Firefox had more than triple the flaws of IE… the issues at large were resolved quicker than a billion dollar PC pioneer could.
