Microsoft, the people we have learned to live with has said no more extras. Remember when Vista was released and they promised Ultimate Extras… which was supposed to be just one more excuse for an overprices OS.

Nothing Microsoft released for Windows Vista Ultimate users was that special… Who cares about screensavers and $5 games. Give Ultimate users what they paid for; the last time Microsoft released any extras was September of 2008.

Even though there might be an Ultimate version of Windows 7, it doesn’t mean the extras will follow. Microsoft has said it won’t be releasing extras for Windows 7 Ultimate… which might be a good thing for us consumers… if it helps to kill some of that ‘premium’ price spread.
