Multimedia Codecs

Have you ever downloaded a multimedia file off and then been stuck wondering why WMP [Windows Media Player] won’t play the file correctly or at all? Have you ever gotten a hold of the movie and then been stuck with a huge audio file because WMP won’t display any video? Sick of those cannot play specified file errors?
When I was new to viewing avi files and the like I would often find myself needing a different codec than I had to be able to vide or listen to a video/audio file. It was beginning to be a pain to find one codec per file as I came across them. It wasn’t too long thereafter I discovered the simplicity behind K-Lite Codec Pack. If you are in need of a codec to playback your files all I can do is recommend K-Lite codec pack. Its as simple as a ‘next-next’ install and you are done. I have been using K-Lite for years now and have never needed another codec since. Its completely free and constantly being updated, so rest assured you will have the latest and greatest codecs available.
You can download k-Lite Codec pack and others here, from the Codec Guide
If you are still stuck on playing your files feel free to leave a comment and I will help you get back on track.
