Automatically Connect to WI-FI networks
Have you ever wanted your laptop to be able to connect to any available WI-FI network it sees without your intervention? Well wonder no more… just follow the simple steps below, and begin surfing free wireless networks with a breeze.
- Maneuver to the Control Panel
- Go to Network Connections and right click on the Wireless Network Connection icon
- Click Properties > Wireless Networks > Advanced
- Click to select the radio button next to “Any Available Network”; then check the box “Automatically connect to non-preferred networks.”
As you can see in this screenshot
the box to aucomatically connect
is unchecked by default in Win XP.
Simply check this box and your XP
machine will connect to any
available wireless network.
