AMD falling apart?
I remember much earlier in the year reading about the trouble that AMD was having; I thought Intel was
simply going to take over the world of CPU manufacturing. It looks like AMD hasn’t given up yet though. They have decided to split up into two main parts: Chip producing [Continuing on as AMD] and chip designing which will be known as The Foundry Co. The Foundry Co. will start by inheriting $1.2 billion of debt from AMD. For now it looks like AMD isn’t going anywhere soon, maybe as a result of this we will see Intel take some more constructive stabs at AMD and The Foundry Co.
